Styled Photo Shoot ~ Winnipeg Wedding Planner

Charmaine Mallari approached us to do a unique styled shoot and we were ecstatic! We knew we wanted to work with an outdoor venue that we could pull inspiration from and the Trappist Monastery was the perfect location to do just that! We are loving the soft blue tones lately and wanted to feature elements of the dusty blue colour that is becoming increasingly popular. The light coloured stone of the Monastery in combination with the dusty blue led itself to a very Grecian look that we all fell in love with! We decided to use light grey and silver to keep the look very soft and then we added a bit of contrast with a navy tone that helped anchor the entire set up. Couples are always looking for ways to bring in their colours so it was important for us to have the dusty blue featured in many different ways to show how this can be done; from the blue hydrangeas to the desserts, and the stationery accents to the stunning dress, the dusty blue was the real star. We wanted an overall look that was soft and romantic without being overly feminine and we were thrilled with how everything came together!
